Roxy was founded in 1993 to cater for young women, particularly in the surf and snow sports arena. The brand's clothing and accessories all feature the distinctive logo of its parent company, Quiksilver, with its logo mirrored to resemble a heart shape. Initially introducing itself as a swimwear line, the brand enjoyed immediate success, so much so that a sportswear line was introduced the following year. The creation of the women's board short, which comprised femininity, flexibility and comfort changed the women's surf apparel market forever. Since then, the brand has expanded its offerings to young girls as well as women, while their tropical prints, fashionable cuts and wide variety of vibrant Roxy t-shirts have ensured them continued success.
